Sandjewells
Sand jewellery arises from the innovative use of polyurethane, a material that can both have the density of wood and the fragility of a trunk. The texture of polyurethane, of great expressive wealth in itself, is activated with the subsequent application of the pigment that, in dialogue with the oxidation processes of the silver, triggers a range of colours and metamorphoses within the material that are unthinkable.
Instead of creating a jewel, Enric Majoral sculpts it, paints it and lets chance transform it.
