An autumn designed for you

It is autumn, a time of change with the days getting shorter. What better way to greet the equinox than by filling up your time with activities and design? We present 10 proposals that you can enjoy with the arrival of the new season.

It's exhibition time

In anticipation of the opening of the major exhibition on Adolf Loos in December, you can whet your appetite with the “Arquitectures” show at the SETBA Foundation, a retrospective of the designer, Magem in Sabadell and the exhibition at the Pedralbes monastery “Les dones també seuen” (Women also sit).  All three in collaboration with the Museu del Disseny.

Festival after festival

Fashionable photography or cinema? Or both? In October, the Barcelona Photogenic Festival will open and the Movistar Barcelona Fashion Film Festival awards will be presented, an event which will be held in the museum's auditorium.

Opening up the doors to the museum

There are no more excuses not to come and discover the hidden corners of the Museu del Disseny: on the weekend of la Mercè (24th and 25th September) and the 48H Open House Barcelona (21st and 22nd October) we will be waiting for you with the doors to the museum and Casa Bloc open wide.

Design for everyone

Finally, design will be the star of the show this autumn. And not only for design professionals, who can once again take part in the 2nd Design for Life Conference, but also for youngsters who, with their families, can enjoy a fun day on 7th October and the new weekend workshops.
