A November for experts in design

A few weeks have passed since the beginning of the academic year, which started out with quite a few surprises: the David Bowie exhibition being extended, new family design activities and new festivals, such as the Fashion Film Festival. The calendar for the coming months, however, is full of activities for the various specialities in fashion design, architecture and product design.

Design Education

Over two days, the II Jornades Disseny per Viure (2nd Design for Life Conferences) will help to throw some light on the most educational aspect of design and the role this can play when placed at the service of knowledge. Rosan Bosch, David Casacuberta and Rosa Llop will be among the specialists illustrating this relationship.

Design is fashionable

If you are an expert in fashion design you can choose between two specialist activities (or come to both, of course). Discover the most notable moments in the history of fashion on the course we have prepared for the beginning of November, or get closer to the Colloquium on fabric and fashion also in November, on 17th and 18th.

Exhibitions and architecture

Are you a lover of architecture? You are in luck, because in the next few weeks the museum will be graced with two exhibitions: the first one linked to Catalonia, putting Puig i Cadafalch centre stage; and the second, relating to European architecture and the life and career of Adolf Loos.

It is difficult to choose among such specialised events, but we hope to see you in the Museum and contributing your ideas and opinions on the social networks.
