Access and reading room
The center contains a Reading Room with 66 reading points. The bibliographic reserves can be consulted for free during the opening hours of the center.

Information and bibliographic requests
The bibliographic information service provides information about the Documentation Center, its reserves, its facilities and services, as well as assistance and advice in the search for information. Other types of requests, such as, technical consultations, dating of images or works, etcetera, are not included in this service. In these cases, the Library allows access to its documental reserves ( more information about this service can be found at Access and Reading Room).

Documents loans
A free service that only requires the presentation of your Documentation Center card.
Users of the Documentation Centre can access the personal area of the catalogue where they can access a series of functionalities: loan renewal; book reservation; penalty information; change of personal data; change of password; search history; reading history; purchase suggestions; message preference management; list management.
The way to access the personal space is: User = personal mail registered in the registration form as a user of the centre, Password = date of birth without hyphens or spaces e.g.: 01012001

Drop boxes
To return the documents that you had borrow, when the Documentation Center is closed, you can leave them in two drop boxes:
one is on the Floor -1 (Monday 3:30-8 pm.; Tuesday to Friday 10 am - 8 pm) and the other at the entrance of the building, access Plaça de les Glòries (24 hours/7 days a week).
In the month of August the drop boxes will not be enabled.
Interlibrary loans
The interlibrary loan service allows users to obtain documents from other libraries. The library participates in the interlibrary loan agreements of the CSUC-CCUC and OCLC library networks. These documents will be consulted in the reading room of the Center.

Reserving documents
This service allows users to hold up to 3 documents that are currently on loan. Once the document is returned, the Documentation Center will contact you via email so that you may pick the items up within a 7 day holding period. This service is available in person at the Center, by phone at 93 256 68 30 or by email at dhubcentredoc@bcn.cat.
Internet. Wi-Fi
Anyone with their own mobile or computer device, can connect to the Internet in the consultation rooms of the center.
