Adolf Loos has arrived at the Museu del Disseny

It required various new collections and months and months of work, but it's here: “Adolf Loos – Private Spaces” opened its doors this week, and will remain open for everyone until 25th February, 2018.

The starting gun was fired by Pilar Parcerisas, curator of the exhibition, with the inaugural lecture. “Loos set himself the task of creating spaces that would protect the individual’s privacy from the outside”, according to the specialist. In order to discover the person, designs and thought of the Viennese architect, we recommend three parallel exhibition activities and spaces.

Educational space

When visiting the exhibition, you can also enjoy a space for children (from 6 years) where you can recreate the designs of Adolf Loos in miniature. You can design and rearrange the domestic spaces using magnetic pieces: how will they turn out?

Beyond Loos

40 m2 and 200 publications selected by the Documentation Centre of the Museum. This is the knowledge space which you will find in the exhibition, where you can relax, read and even take the books out on loan!
