3 reasons not to miss the OFFF Festival 2018
You have a date on your calendar: three days, from 24th to 26th May. But if you are still not sure about immersing yourself in the International Festival of Creativity, Design and Digital Culture of Barcelona, we offer you some reasons not to miss the OFFF Festival Barcelona at the Museu del Disseny:
18 years of being the showcase for the latest trends
This year, the OFFF Festival comes of age as a benchmark event with almost 100 conferences and workshops on everything that is creating trends in graphic design, video clips, photography, advertising, cinema and publishing. If you want to know where all these disciplines are going, you’ll have to take part in order to keep yourself updated and connect with the most inspiring and influential creators.
Headliners: the design directors of Facebook and Twitter
Those responsible for designing two of the most important social networks will be at the Museu del Disseny. And the company of the blue bird has made a strong commitment to the OFFF Festival Barcelona: a team of 20 people are coming and the conference will be broadcast live, streaming on the Twitter Design account (@design).
And they are not the only star speakers: you can’t miss out on Patrick Clair, creator of series title sequences such as Westworld, The Crown or True Detective; Ben Grandgenett, deputy art director at the New York Times Magazine; and Luke Hayman, creator of the new images for TIME Magazine and MasterCard.
Networking, workshops and fun zone
A Festival is not just about conferences. In the OFFF Festival Market, you can buy the latest creations by artists and designers, and with the workshops you can enjoy a practical experience with renowned masters of design.
And of course: food trucks. Surely, this is where you’ll spend most of your time, but we remind you that, in the OFFF Festival fun zone, you can enjoy the most tempting gastronomic offerings and watch the conferences via streaming in the open air.
