Families take centre stage for a day at the Museu del Disseny

Next Saturday, 20th October, and for the second year in a row, families will take the leading role at the Museu del Disseny, with the 2nd “Family Design” Day, organised for families with children up to 12 years old.

Throughout this enjoyable day, which begins at 11.00 am and extends until 6.00 pm, the young participants and their parents will be able to take part in all kinds of activities and workshops that will bring them closer to the world of design.

The "Family design" day also marks the start of the family workshops for the 2018-2019 academic year, and attendees will be able to discover the activities on offer which can be enjoyed every weekend at the Museu del Disseny.

This year, among the notable activities is the participatory event from the La Guerrilla del Ganxet collective in which participants will be invited to decorate the railing at the entrance to the museum with wall paintings; the screening of short films on design "Es mou!” (It Moves!) "(Suitable for children from 3 years of age); or the activity for children up to 5 years old “No és pas or tot el que lluu” (All that glitters is not gold) presented by Experimentem amb l’Art.

During the day you can also visit the permanent exhibitions at the Museu del Disseny for free and the cafeteria-restaurant will be offering family-friendly menus especially for the occasion.
