Ceramics and architecture. Ceràmica Cumella
For many centuries clay and enamel were the materials that enabled civilisations to meet many of their daily needs: from building and adapting their houses to live more comfortably to manufacturing a multitude of utilitarian objects that have made life easier for us.
How we work has steadily continued to change, from medieval craft workshops to the factories that began mass-producing in the 19th century. Fortunately we can still find symbioses today between trades, research and innovation in the production of ceramic materials for building.
Ceràmica Cumella works to implement projects in close collaboration with notable architectural studios, bringing them its expertise in materials, with visible results in some of the most representative projects in international contemporary architecture.
