The brands of Barcelona Fashion Forward, at La Roca Village
For the second year running, participants in the Barcelona Fashion Forward programme will sell their products at the designer shopping destination, La Roca Village. It will be in a new edition of The Creative Spot x Barcelona Fashion Forward, an initiative in which La Roca Village becomes a creativity and local talent incubator accompanying five emerging designers in their professional development.
Until the end of May, the concept boutique will host the Spring-Summer 2023 collections from the Owl, KM by Lange, Zhannaona, G-LEM and Muro Collective brands, forming part of the exclusive selection of renowned luxury brand and lifestyle boutiques of La Roca Village.
“Barcelona Fashion Forward is a key programme for the entrepreneurship ecosystem of Barcelona Activa and the Barcelona Design Hub. In addition to focusing on an important sector of creative industries such as fashion, it is a pioneering programme in Catalonia for its practical contribution, as it is makes having a physical space for sales and promotion possible at La Roca Village (thanks to the work we have done with the support and work of the entire Value Retail and Plus Value team). It is also a platform in which the brands can test their products and get to know their consumers better”, the Director of the Barcelona Disseny Hub, Mireia Escobar points out.
La Roca Village, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary, has participated in the Barcelona Fashion Forward programme, not only by welcoming brands to the concept boutique, but also as a member of the jury and forming part of a mentoring programme, focused on improving the brands’ professional, digital, marketing, communication and retail skills.

Barcelona Fashion Forward is a programme led by the Promotion of Design and the Creative Industries Management Team of Barcelona Activa, and Barcelona City Council, based at the Barcelona Design Hub.
