Humor, criticism and live illustrations at the Cruïlla Fest by the Disseny Hub
From 5 to 8 July the live arts return to the Cruïlla Fest to complement the festival's comedy and music programming and through the collaboration agreement with Disseny Hub Barcelona. For the second consecutive year, the Cruïlla Fest, held in the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona, goes beyond music and is accompanied by proposals from different disciplines and artistic forms of expression that take life with the Cruïlla Arts.
Among the actions promoted by the Disseny Hub and the Tourism and Creative Industries Management of the Barcelona City Council that will take place within the framework of the Cruïlla Arts, highlight the live illustrations by the collective El Estafador. It is a 'combat’ among illustrators in a large photocall that will be created live or six large murals that will be illustrated during the festival by prominent artists such as Ricardo Cavolo, Amaia Arrazola, Lyona, Emily Eldridge, Asis Percales or La Mandanga. In addition, the collective El Estafador, which is already the second year of collaboration with the Cruïlla and the Disseny Hub Barcelona, has produced a series of cartoons for the occasion that combine humour, irony and criticism and that will be disseminated through the equipment channels and in the magazine El Estafador. The Cruïlla Arts also includes a show art session in which the 16 artists winning the competition 'Street Art by Ametller Origin' will present the portraits of the festival's poster heads, as well as the creation of two large format murals by two of the prominent artists of the Gargar Festival such as Wedo Goás and Zeso WF, or the presentation of three spectacular facilities and a floating full moon that will illuminate the Forum Park. This is the second year that the Disseny Hub Barcelona collaborates with Cruïlla Arts. The previous year, the equipment was also linked to the festival, hosting a series of concerts of the Cruïlla XXS.
