The Ocean as the Next Frontier

This area of the exhibition reflects on how, after human conquest of land and space, the ocean has emerged as a new territory to be incorporated into the human imagination and resource map. It explores the tensions within this space to be mapped, where colonization for the extraction of new resources coexists with conservation.
